We are a UK retailer of musical instruments and specialize in string instruments and associated products and we also have fantastic deals on many musical products. Our new store has our full range of products on display and includes a full Custom Guitar & Repair Shop.

Purple Turtle Music is based in a large Grade II  listed mill in Stockport Cheshire/Manchester which is open to the public 7 days. There are large free car parks and many other shops on site including the Adidas Outlet Store, furniture store, gyms, the highest climbing wall in England and a great kids play area so why not make a day of it whilst collecting your purchase or try before you buy.

All items are advertised are in stock and shipped from our store unless stated otherwise. Items for collection must be paid for in store, Paypal cannot be used for collections.

All items we sell are brand new from official UK distributors and are supplied in their original packaging unless stated otherwise.

All items supplied are in English language such as instruction manuals, Books and DVD's etc and all electrical and electronic items for mains power use are supplied with plugs for the UK market unless stated otherwise.

Many products we sell are made from natural woods and as such the specific grain and colours may vary from our photos, this is out of our control.

We make every effort to ensure our photographs and product details are up to date and correct but occasionally suppliers do change specifications without notifying us. If we find a change to specification when we are checking your item for shipping we will inform you immediately before sending.

All items excluding consumables such as strings, etc are covered by a 24 month return to base warranty with the original receipt unless stated otherwise in the product details.

We have an in store Luthier and Custom repair shop and all Musical instruments are checked, adjusted, polished and tuned before shipping. These checks include neck angle adjustment, intonation, action, fret condition/fret buzz, pick-up height, tuner performance, all electrics and controls, general condition and finish. We do not ship items with damage, if an item is damaged on receipt it has been damaged in transit and will be replaced immediately.

All items are covered by a 30 day money back guarantee from the day of receipt. We are sure you will be delighted with your purchase but whatever reason you are unhappy with your item please email us and we will respond with details for the return. Items returned under the 30 day money back guarantee are the responsibility of the customer until safely received by us.
All items returned must be fully complete in original condition, in the original packaging with all labels and instructions. Refunds will be made once the item has been fully checked and inspected, please allow 5 working days for this.. Refunds will be for the price of the order originally paid for.

Items faulty or damaged on receipt must be reported by email within 2 working day from receipt. Faulty/damaged returns/collections will be made based on the original shipping service paid for and will be free of charge to the customer once the returned item has the reported fault verified. Items returned as faulty but found to be working on receipt will have a charge for re-sending the item applied.

Faulty items will be exchanged or a refund offered and please report to us by email with 30 days. For faulty items outside 30 days, please contact us by email and we will provide instructions for the return. The return to us will be at the customers cost and we will pay the return shipping.

If you are unhappy with an item please allow us to help solve the problem, please do not leave poor feedback without allowing us the chance to correct any problems.
